September is just around the corner, which means fall is almost here. Of course, the stores are already taunting us with boots, jackets and fall colors, so why not start making room for a couple of this year’s fall essentials? Below, you’ll find a shopping list, and you might also find a pleasant surprise that many of the items are things you may already own.
For me, I’m keeping my eyes peeled for a good moto jacket, a felt hat and some brown booties.
1. Midi dress
2. Black pencil skirt (preferrable midi length)
3. Moto jacket
4. Ankle booties
5. Glitter accents
6. Jeweled earrings
7. Wide brimmed felt hat
8. Boyfriend jeans
9. Greige nail polish

Spring has sprung! I don’t know about you, but here in Arizona layers are important during this time of year. During the day you’ll find the temps soaring at 80 degrees, and then they plummet down to the 60’s. One of the latest fashion trends I’m really loving right now is adding a vest to your ensemble. It’s one more layer to keep you warm, but it’s sleeveless and easy to shed when you need to.
I never really gave vests much thought because the last time I wore one it was the 1990’s. It had flowers on it and a ribbon belt in the back. Anyone remember this?!
These vests are MUCH different. Specifically, cargo vests and denim vests are the ones to wear. Check out this style inspiration…

I have over one million followers on my personal style board, trends board and recipes board, and 560,000+ overall followers. I have no idea who all of these people are, where they live or what they do. BUT, now through this new social media platform, I do know what they like.
That’s one of the best things about Pinterest. You not only can categorize your favorite things, but you can keep track of what the majority of the people love too!
So, I thought it would be interesting to see what trends and outfits everyone thinks are the best and to see if y’all agree. All of these images have received 600+ repins, and some of them have received over 1,000. AND the ones at the VERY top have gotten 3,000+ repins. Next time I have a party I will wear a yellow dress and make margarita popsicles and turtles. =) haha!
It is apparent that my Pinterest followers are obsessed with shoes. The funny thing is that I’m not really a shoe gal. Are you?
These are the top four shoes. Out of this group the ones that I would actually purchase are the flats. I love the others, but I would be a walking giant if I gave the rest a go.
I guess a lot of users on pinterest are ready to put on a pair of shorts!
The interesting thing about these top pins is that there isn’t a specific style that is represented. There’s glam, all-American AND indie.
As far as beauty trends, women are ready to put their hair up in elegant ways.
And neon and gold hues are catching their eyes!
But what outfits are their all time favorites?
There is something for everyone woman – pretty lace, simple white, or tomboy chic. I’d wear them all! Would you?
All of these images and their sources can be found here.

Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, and regardless of whether or not you have a sweetheart, you can look as sweet as can be.
One easy way is to accessorize with bows. There’s nothing that says, “I’m cute and sweet,” like a bow.
Right now a big trend with these childhood classics is to place then just underneath your hair bun. Leather bows, floral bows, plaid bows…There is something for everyone. Have fun with it!

Polka dot is a print that comes in and out of style almost every other year. It’s cute, simple and happy. I always think of the print as childlike. Sometimes that can be a bad thing, but a little polka hear and there can give your outfit a bit of life.
Check out some of this inspiration I spotted!
Make the pattern preppy and girly like below
Or grunge it up…
So what do you think? Do you like polka dots? Or do they remind you too much of Minnie Mouse?
