Mother's Day is on Sunday. YAY! So, I thought it would be great to share some of my favorite blogs by some super stylish moms that I look up to. 1. Kenziepoo - Rachelle is one hot mamma. She's the editor of La Petite Magazine and the the blogger behind Kenziepoo. She also blogs for Babble.com a lot. She has AWESOME personal style. Her hair and makeup alone are always on point.
2. Rockstar Diaries - I'm sure you've probably already heard of Naomi from Rockstar Diaries, but she is one of my favorite stylin' moms. He hair and outfits are always unique and adorable. Plus, she always has the best braids. I wish I could do that for myself. My arms just get too tired I think. haha!
3. Kelly Murray - Kelly is an amazing visual artist and illustrator. She is also the head fashion designer of Jedidiah, so the girl knows a thing or two about good style. She has a beautiful little girl, and has incorporated motherhood into everything she does. Definitely check out her blog and her personal style posts!
4. Simply Grove - Kirsten is an amazing interior decorator. Her good taste in home decor completely translates into fashion. She has two adopted kiddos that have to be the most trend setting kids on this planet.
My faith in God is the most important aspect of my life, and from time to time you'll see it mentioned on my blog. I personally prefer to not have my blog and social media accounts be loud speakers for my views because I know not everyone shares them and I feel that my actions speak much louder than words anyway.
So, with that said, I've been really happy to take part in contributing to an organization called Wonderfully Made. It's a non-profit that helps women fight self-esteem issues and eating disorders with a faith based approach. I'm extremely passionate about those issues, and I feel that being in the fashion industry I have a responsibility to help fight them by communicating a healthy view of women and men. You can find me blogging about fashion once a month on their blog. Check out my some of my latest articles here...

I also just had the pleasure of sharing my journey in the fashion industry and how my faith has played a role with Angelic Magazine. You can read the article here.

Mother's Day is just around the corner, and not only do I get to celebrate the wonderful mothers in my life, but I get to celebrate being a mom for the very first time. YAY!!! Summer and Brooke from the Girls with Glasses invited me to celebrate Mother's Day with them by being a part of a video. Of course, I've only really known five months of being a mom, but they have been the most life changing months of my life yet!
I hope you enjoy it, and I hope all of you have a wonderful Mother's Day celebrating not just your biological moms, but any woman in your life that has nurtured you. Sadly, not all of us get to be moms in our lifetimes or we lose our moms too early. But, hopefully, some woman out there has been able to love and care for you.
I love my job, and I love my clients. Kari and Charlie are two wonderful people that invited me to style their engagement shoot with Gina Meola. These two went ALL out, and decided these photos were so important to them that they headed all of the way to San Diego, California to make sure they had a beach backdrop.
Of course, if you're going to travel many miles to take some photos you HAVE to look killer. So, after meeting both of them and rummaging around in their closet to see what basics they had, we headed out shopping. I created four outfits for each of them. Three of the outfits they wore in San Diego, and one they are going to wear in an additional shoot here in Phoenix with their puppies.
Kari was so enthusiastic and trusting. Two great qualities in a client. She shared with me the colors and clothes that she felt most comfortable in, but then of course, you have to push the boundary a bit for engagement photos. Kari ended up trying her first pair of leggings and her first pair of skinny jeans. I'm happy to say she loved them. And, she looks great in them, no?
Charlie is a really laid back guy, so he was up for pretty much anything. However, it was important to him that he looked like himself. So, after selecting Kari's wardrobe, we picked out Charlie's and made sure that everything he wore complemented her outfits. He felt most confident in jean, so we just selected the perfect shirts for his skin tone.
But even if a couple is gorgeous and has the right clothes on, the poses and the backdrops that the photographer chooses can make or break the photos. Gina Meola is a genius when it comes to this, and she picked such amazing photo spots to bring out the colors and personality of the couple.
