New Runnin' Shoes

This past weekend I put on my running shoes that I've had for almost four years! They were definitely on their last leg. Ryan's Puma's were in the same boat, so we went to Famous Footwear to capitalize on their buy one, get one half off deal. I found some awesome Adidas running shoes on sale! They are light as a feather compared to my old New Balance shoes. I've already taken these puppies for a test run and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. What kind of sneakers do you prefer?

New Arrivals from Nicole Miller

I wouldn't say I'm a die hard Nicole Miller fan, but she is a go-to designer when I'm looking for a great dress. Granted, her prices are steep, but when you sign up for the newsletter you get coupons sent to you. Plus, if you can wait long enough, she has great sales. Most department stores sell her clothing too. Check out her Spring arrivals! Which one would you most likely wear? I really like the one shouldered top!

You Know You Got Accepted When...

So, I got my official acceptance letter and guess what came with it?! A TOTE BAG!!! You know you're going to a fashion school when they send you a tote bag with your acceptance letter. haha. I also found out that one my classes at ASU counts for one of the classes in my curriculum for FIDM. That's one less class I have to take and hopefully can graduate faster. =)

No real developments though. Jobs are a big part of the process and right now things are not looking too bright. School starts in October, so we have five months to find jobs and a place to live in either L.A. or San Francisco. Again, if you know of anything in IT industry out there, please let us know! Please pray for us too!

Shades

Even though I can't allow myself to buy expensive sunglasses anymore (I always lose my sunglasses), I really enjoy them and think they give a first impression of one's personal style. Anything goes in fashion right now...You can wear aviators, Ray-bans or Jackie O. glasses and you wouldn't be "out of date." I recently found some awesome A|X glasses at T.J. Maxx for $15.00, and they are some of the best glasses I've ever had. Browsing through ShopStyle.com I found a huge variety...Which ones would you wear?

Booties

Do you own a pair of booties yet or are you waiting for this trend to die? I don't own any, but this trend has definitely grown on me. Here are some that I thought were pretty cute and on sale. Now is the time to buy booties because summer is on it's way and winter shoes are on sale big time. This trend isn't going away anytime soon, so you may want to consider hunting for some cute ones!
