Fun Finds

organicpencilcaseI've found some fun little things this morning. Many of them are great gifts for friends or things to place in your home or kid's room. Check 'em out! Famille Summerbelle sells all sorts of things for a kid's room, but I think that I would use them to decorate an office too! They have this cute pillow that says "blue bird" on it that would go great in a cool rocking chair or on a modern couch. They also sell these elaborate maps of Paris and London in pinks and blues, as well as these cute family trees.

Lollipop Designs is located in the UK, and sells these adorable hand printed paper goods. They have these really cool cards that come with stamps so you can finish decorating them. For example, there's a picture of telephone wires and it comes with a birdie stamp so that you can stamp the birds where you'd like them to go...Cool, huh?!

Finally, Sukie Co. is a place to find organic gifts for friends. They also sell recycled paper goods.

Please Don't...Smell Like Meat

BKFlameIt has been awhile since I made a plea with the public...Well, I came across this and I have just got to say...WHAT THE HECK WERE THEY THINKING?!!! Leave it to the Brits to create a perfume that smells like MEAT! Yes, that is what I said...Meat! It's called "Flame." Burger King UK just came out with the new scent. So now you can smell like flame grilled hamburger (more like microwaved beef). This is their description....Tell me if it makes you want to buy it....(gross!)

"Introducing Flame, the new fragrance from Burger King. Flame is the world's first perfume to contain the irresistable, sizzling overtones of the WHOPPER. Behold the scent of seduction with a subtle hint of flame-grilled beef."

Fallen Princesses

jasmine copyI never thought of myself as a princess, but I sure did enjoy the Disney movies about princesses and such. Well, I came across this photographer named Dina Goldstein that does a lot of editorial work. She did a clever take on Disney princesses and where they are now....Check it out! I think Jasmine is my favorite...What's yours?

Asymmetrical Clothing

oneshoulderLast season on Project Runway Natalie Portman was a guest judge, and she made a comment that sort of surprised me...She said that she didn't like asymmetrical clothing. Personally, I love one-shouldered dresses and tops! I think there's an elegance about them. What do you think? Do you agree with Ms. Portman or do you enjoy asymmetrical fashions?
