I have found another gem designer. Megan Auman creates jewelry and fun home accent pieces that are so simple and unique. The second I came across her Etsy site I knew I needed to share her with all of you. I definitely think I'll be purchasing some of her beautiful ornaments this year and her coffee cozies would be a great gift!

I'm not a big fan of velvet, honestly. As a fashion lover I should never rule out any fabric or item because things have a way of coming back in style.
To me, velvet reminds me of junior high when I had a dress code of red, black and white, and all I could find during the winter time were these red and black velvet, short-sleeved shirts (short-sleeved in winter time only Houston or Phoenix). I wore them every week - imprisoned in the fabric. haha. ;)
I don't mind seeing velvet used as an accent to a garment or accessory, however. Here are some items that I really enjoy!
Being on the west coast, I don't see too many guys wearing suits on a daily basis, but if you're ever in the market for a suit Brooks Brothers (http://www.brooksbrothers.com/) is definitely the place to go. They've been around since 1818 and have made a name for themselves in the area of men's and women's suiting. They're clothes are classic and timeless.
They have been dressing the actors of Mad Men since the show's first season, and they are do a heck of job! The men on this show look so dapper! Now you can have your own Mad Men suit too!

You know the saying, "There's just something about a man in uniform..." Well, for me its blazers, jackets and sweaters...men's warm weather clothing makes me melt! Does anyone else agree or am I just weird?
