I'm in the process of branding AVE Styles, and the lovely Promise Tangeman is doing my identity work. She is having me go through an exercise of creating inspiration boards that express my style because, ultimately, I'm selling myself. Those are the words that describe my style. Though I appreciate those that can pull off hippy chic and glam rock, I'm a fairly serious, type A gal that gets a bit frazzled by mismatched prints, neon colors and too much hardware. haha.

Flesh tones are big this spring, but many of us steer clear of the neutral hues because they can make you look washed out and naked. But, like my mom always says, "Where there's a will, there's a way." Here are my tips...
Since nudes go with everything, where bright accessories, especially near your face so the most important feature doesn't get washed away. Scarves and jeweled necklaces do the trick. A bright, big satchel across or along your body will also make you stand out in the crowd.
