HD Invisible Cover Foundation

Sephora just had their Very Important Beauty (VIB) weekend where you saved 15% on your entire purchase. In need of more foundation, I decided to splurge on Make Up For Ever's High Defenition Foundation to see what all the fuss is about.

Well, I'm sold! Being a long time user of Lorac, I was nervous to try something new. The Sephora makeup artist assured me that this foundation was water based and wouldn't clog my pores. She did a small test on my chin, and I was pleased. However, it was when I woke up the next morning to apply the foundation I was so shocked. Even my aunt mentioned how flawless my skin looked.

I have several acne scars, and this makeup camouflaged them like no other!

I highly recommend this product to those that have problematic skin or if you are about to have a photo shoot. It costs $40, so I wouldn't say it's a "must have" beauty item if your skin is just blotchy and you want to cover a mole.

Menswear Monday - The Dress Shirt

A white or blue button down shirt is a staple and MUST have for any guy's wardrobe.

This is a shirt that is most commonly seen with a suit and tie, but can be worn many ways.

This is a shirt that when all else fails you can wear without thinking and look nice.

Here are some examples on how to wear this wardrobe necessity...

How to Wear Stripes & Floral Prints

Stripes and floral prints are huge this year, so why not put them together? Here are some tips...

I like this fun party outfit because it's a bit rocker, a bit feminine and it really stands out. Sometimes putting these two prints together can be overwhelming. So, if your floral print is really bright, you might want to tone the stripes down (as shown above). Also, go low key with jewelry. There's already a lot going on.

What do you think? Would you wear it?

Leifsdoittir - New Line

If you adore Anthropologie, you are going to love them even more because now they carry Leifsdoittir! My fashionable sister-in-law, Nicky, shared this new line with me last week and it's too good not to share it with you.

Leifsdottir is a young designer collection by Finland native Johanna Uurasjarvi. The line is a collection of feminine looks that showcase a lot of color and prints. Here are some of my favorites...
