From the Runway to Everyday

Sometimes it's hard to translate looks from the runway to everyday. Wearing just a bra under a sweater doesn't fly unless you're a celebrity, but wearing a pretty bra under a camisole under a cardigan - that works! haha. Check out my look inspired by Rochas' Spring 2010 collection.

The Statement Shoe

Do you have a pair of shoes that get a ton of compliments or head turns? I don't, but that's because my giant feet turn plenty of heads. haha.

Seriously though, I am on the hunt of a "statement shoe," and United Nude is the place for just that. Granted, I'll have to save my pennies, but their designs are SO unique and architectural. Stunning to say the least. Check out my favorites...

Kate Spade

My first designer handbag was a giraffe print Kate Spade purse. I can remember the moment when I saw it. I was 14 years old, it was around Christmas time and I was walking through Neiman Marcus feeling awkward because I wasn't dressed up enough, and then I saw it...black leather straps, boxy shape, red silk inside and fuzzy giraffe print on the outside. I begged and begged my mom to make this purse my Christmas and birthday gift combined (my birthday is in June). haha. Needless to say, she honored my request and I brought that bag to school every day!

I have been a big supporter of Kate Spade ever since, and I'm really loving this year's ad campaigns. Kate Spade always uses color in fun, cute, sassy and classic ways.

Here is an outfit inspired by their Spring 2010 ad campaign...
