/
Last week I shared a sneak peek of a Marie Antoinette photo shoot a did over the summer, and I promised I would share how this all happened. SOOOOO....rather than have me type EVERYthing out, I'm going to have the AMAZing video shot by Beautiful Day Films do the talking. =)
Ready. Set. PLAY!
Marie Antoinette::Orpheum::Documentary Edit from Beautiful Day Films on Vimeo.
With the opulence and decadence of Marie Antoinette juxtaposed to the city lights and contemporary backdrop of Downtown Phoenix, this bridal shoot shows the modern bride how to execute a beautiful wedding in 2010 with French flair. Featuring work by Beautiful Day Films, Jeanette LeBlanc Photograhy and AVE Styles in the gorgeous setting of the Orpheum Penthouse.
First Friday Photography Exhibit
/You guys obviously know that I have a great appreciation for photography. The art form is integral to fashion's success. SO....Recently, I decided to take on the task of organizing a fun photography exhibit showcasing local, budding photographers in the Phoenix-metro area. The subject of the art work ranges from landscapes to people to fashion.

The event is in conjunction with Phoenix First Friday and will be showcased in a historic home that is a part of a local church called Day|Twelve on Friday, November 5, 2010 from 6pm to 10pm.
The photographers featured are Mike Olbinski, Tiffany Egbert, Dee Nichols, Rick Young, Stephen Lynch and Charith Norvelle.
Please come and take a moment to check out the exhibit, enjoy to some free food/drink and then mosey on down to see the rest of the art walk.
Top Hair Products & Tips from an Expert
/
I have a real treat for all of you. My dear friend Kim Cornwell has decided to share her top hair products and tips with all of you today.
I have collaborated with Kim on two other shoots (Marie Antoinette and Epiphanie), and I'll be working with her again in the very near future. Kim also happens to be my my hair stylist, and I DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone that is looking for a hairstylist in the Chandler, Arizona area. She's uber talented! You can check her out at Triple Threat Studios (480-225-4282).
Now onto the hair goodies and tips...
FOR PREP...When you start ANY hairstyle, your hair needs to be appropriately prepped. TIGI S Factor Silky Smooth and Morrocanoil are amazing, lightweight products that actually improve the health of your hair while adding moisture, shine and heat protection. I recommend using a prep product even on air dry days, but make it mandatory before ANY heat on your hair! For those of us looking to multiply the look of our locks try a volumizer before blowdrying. I love TIGI Catwalk Your Highness Thickening Creme Gel, or for more oomph TIGI Beadhead Cocky.
