WeLikeWeLove Feature

That latest issue of WeLikeWeLove Magazine is out, and now I can finally share with you a wonderful collaboration with my friend Jessie Artigue that I have been waiting MONTHS to spill.

Jessie is fellow fashion stylist and fashion blogger over at Style & Pepper. She also happens to be from Phoenix, but has since moved to to the east coast. When she told me she was coming into town for the holidays we decided we had to seize this chance to collaborate.

So, we set up a fashion photo shoot with photographer Nick Duplessis, The Agency Arizona models and makeup artist Arthur Fredericko. We played with spring and summer trends that we both were excited about, and decided to photograph the styles at a stylish Downtown Phoenix high rise, 44 Monroe.

Alyssa and Liz, the editors of WeLikeWeLove, were kind enough to include this shoot in their latest issue of the magazine. They also interviewed me and Jessie about the collaboration process for this project. Please check it out, and I hope you love the looks!

Stylish Moms

Mother's Day is on Sunday. YAY! So, I thought it would be great to share some of my favorite blogs by some super stylish moms that I look up to. 1. Kenziepoo - Rachelle is one hot mamma. She's the editor of La Petite Magazine and the the blogger behind Kenziepoo. She also blogs for Babble.com a lot. She has AWESOME personal style. Her hair and makeup alone are always on point.

2. Rockstar Diaries - I'm sure you've probably already heard of Naomi from Rockstar Diaries, but she is one of my favorite stylin' moms. He hair and outfits are always unique and adorable. Plus, she always has the best braids. I wish I could do that for myself. My arms just get too tired I think. haha!

Angelic Magazine & Wonderfully Made

My faith in God is the most important aspect of my life, and from time to time you'll see it mentioned on my blog. I personally prefer to not have my blog and social media accounts be loud speakers for my views because I know not everyone shares them and I feel that my actions speak much louder than words anyway.

So, with that said, I've been really happy to take part in contributing to an organization called Wonderfully Made. It's a non-profit that helps women fight self-esteem issues and eating disorders with a faith based approach. I'm extremely passionate about those issues, and I feel that being in the fashion industry I have a responsibility to help fight them by communicating a healthy view of women and men. You can find me blogging about fashion once a month on their blog. Check out my some of my latest articles here...

I also just had the pleasure of sharing my journey in the fashion industry and how my faith has played a role with Angelic Magazine. You can read the article here.

If you have any questions about what you read or my life I'm happy to answer them. You can leave a comment or send me a note through my contact form.

Girls with Glasses Mother's Day Video

Mother's Day is just around the corner, and not only do I get to celebrate the wonderful mothers in my life, but I get to celebrate being a mom for the very first time. YAY!!! Summer and Brooke from the Girls with Glasses invited me to celebrate Mother's Day with them by being a part of a video. Of course, I've only really known five months of being a mom, but they have been the most life changing months of my life yet!

I hope you enjoy it, and I hope all of you have a wonderful Mother's Day celebrating not just your biological moms, but any woman in your life that has nurtured you. Sadly, not all of us get to be moms in our lifetimes or we lose our moms too early. But, hopefully, some woman out there has been able to love and care for you.
