Fall Shoes

Having size 10 narrow, flat feet makes shoe shopping a drag most of the time, but that doesn't stop me from ogling all of the new fall shoe collections. I especially have a secret love affair with boots. Ankle boots, calf length boots, over-the-knee boots...I love them and have them all. And, I want more...Here are my picks for fall footwear. Some are just dreams and others, well, may wind up in my closet soon.

Which ones are your favorites?

Trend alert! BEEP! BEEP!

When you think to accessorize a part of your body usually wrists, neck, fingers and occasionally the ankles come to mind. Well, add your shoulders into the mix this fall by embellishing them with studs, leather and jewels.

Paige & Connor Styled

It's no secret that I adore east coast fashions, so when I had the chance to style two love birds from South Carolina and Ohio for their engagement shoot with Ventola Photography I was so PUMPED!

Paige and Connor are getting married in Sedona, Arizona, but planning their wedding from afar. So, I had the unique experience of styling them virtually and then meeting them the day before their engagement shoot to finalize their outfits. It was AWESOME! Through collaborating on Pinterest, email and phone conversations, Paige and Connor knew exactly what to shop for. Then when we met up at Kym Ventola's home to finalize the looks it was easy as pie to choose bright, J.Crew inspired outfits.

I hope you love all of them as much as I do. If you would like to see more photos from their engagement shoot click here.

Beauty Review - MyFace Cosmetics

I always hate it when I run out of foundation, concealer, primer and mascara all at once. It always seems to happen to me, and then I have to spend a pretty penny restocking my essentials. Well, right as I was getting ready to put my shopping list together I was given a chance to test out some awesome beauty products by MyFace Cosmetics. MyFace is a luxury cosmetic line with Kate Moss, Gweneth Paltrow and Leona Lewis users of the products and big fans. I usually just sift through the brands I find on Sephora.com or Ulta, and since you won't find them there I had never heard of MyFace. Currently, their products are only offered through their site, but I'm so glad that I tried them out because I would absolutely take the time and order what has become my new favorite lip gloss, foundation and liquid eye liner.

Gail Federici who was the co-founder of John Frieda is the CEO of MyFace, and Kabuki is the Artistic Director. Kabuki was the makeup artist for the hit T.V. show Sex and the City, and his work has graced the covers of ever major fashion magazines such as Bazaar, Elle and Vogue. Together, MyFace has centered their makeup line around hand selecting colors that would be perfect for your skin type.

My skin type is medium, and so I use their MyMix 02 foundation, and I've fallen in love with their Gigabite lipstick in "Suga Mama" and Lip Pop gloss in "Maneater." It's the perfect combo for fall. They also have a liquid eye liner that stays FOREVER. You can go to sleep with it on and wake up with perfect eyes.

I highly recommend checking their products out if you're in the market for something new. Right now they have free shipping for orders over $25 or and a free lip gloss for orders over $30. So, you pretty much won't have to pay shipping, and you get to try some of the best lip gloss on the market for free. Sounds like a great deal to me. Let me know what you think if you try it!

Photography Inspiration

It seems like any day now I'm going to meet my daughter, and I couldn't be more excited. I know I'm going to fall head-over-heels and never want let her go. But in this very moment, after scrolling through loads of images on Slow Motion Living, I just want to jump off of this couch and start creating beautiful imagery. I don't think my hunger for creating beautiful moments will ever go away, and I can't wait until I can get back out on the streets and continue doing it. Until then, I'm just going to enjoy the work of others, and I hope you do too.
