I started AVE Styles in 2010 as a place to share my journey to achieving my dreams of working in the fashion industry. Over time, this blog and supporting social outlets became the ticket to achieving my dreams and a stepping stone to new passions. As I changed, AVE Styles changed with me. AVE Styles has now become a platform to authentically share life’s beauty, lessons and everything in between.


About Alex Vailas

I am a multi-faceted marketer and creative who over the course of my career has driven vision, storytelling, and positive business results for top brands across multiple industries including food, travel, home furnishings, automotive, grocery, beauty, and parenting. I’m an innovative collaborator whose diversified industry experience spans each part of the creative process from creator to agency to brand, understanding the unique challenges and expectations of each. 

I was a leader in influencer marketing before there was even a word for it. With over 13 years of influencer marketing experience and over one million followers, I have been able to leverage my influence to create positive business results for all of my employers and brand partners without abandoning a commitment to my own story and experience. Deemed Business Insider and InStyle Magazine’s Top Pinner, Alex I have helped countless brands such as Target, Home Depot, and Coca-Cola produce digital content that creates demand for their products.

I’m also a sought-after thought leader and speaker who has been able to merge my personal experiences with her unmatched professional know-how to engage audiences authentically, giving them actionable insights and tactical steps for achieving their goals. I believe wholeheartedly that focusing on shared human experience is the key to a brand’s success, so I daily practices telling my own story through the rectangles of social never losing sight of the deeper purpose behind storytelling - human connection.

I am currently is the Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing for DYPER in Scottsdale, Arizona where I am responsible for building a generation-defining brand that aims to save the planet and reduce landfill waste through the use and promotion of plant-based diapers.

I do all of this while also raising two smart and compassionate kiddos.
