Before I was a stylist, I was in the architecture world as the Communications Director for the Arizona chapter of American Institute of Architects. It was my first real job out of college, and I learned so much about the importance of good design. It's amazing how much a space effects your emotions and creativity let alone just having something that keeps the elements at bay. I also learned how much architects love a good pair of glasses.

Warby Parker has teamed up with Architecture for Humanity, a non-profit organization whose mission is to connect architecture and design professionals with people critically in need of design services, to celebrate the organization's 15 year anniversary. Warby is reinforcing the importance of good design by adding two new styles to their collection - the Aslin and Fowler. Space.

I dream about space. Empty white walls, sunlight pouring in and clutter absent. Somehow I feel like I can breathe deeper in those spaces. Fashion & Architecture

There are several books out there that show the reciprocal relationship between fashion and architecture. It just so happens that I work in both of those fields. Go figure?! haha.

Anyway, my hubbie and I are planning to move out of our third story apartment that we have lived in for over three years, and relocate to a home rental in downtown Phoenix. Thought it won't be our own place, I'm excited for the change of scenery and a new opportunity to decorate my home. =)
