It's almost fall fashion season!!! Can you smell it? I think it smells like leather. Don't you? I'm so excited for it, and I've teamed up with eBay to curate my own fashion sales event featuring finds from brands like: Chloe, Dolce Gabbana, and Michael Kors. Get ready for the fall season and stay looking chic all year long with everything I've selected. The nice thing about eBay is that you can easily find that Chloe bag you've been searching for, but get it for so much less than other retailers. Who doesn't love a bargain, right?

I searched hundreds and hundreds of pieces, and I’ve narrowed it down to the best. The collection includes luxury as well as affordable items, unisex as well as women's, and accessories as well as clothes.

Some trends that I'm loving the most right now are leather fringe, all white outfits, all black outfits and graphic patterns. Go shop it and tell me which item you're loving most!

Travel Style

Call me crazy, but I just flew across country 32 weeks pregnant and I made it safely to the east coast to celebrate my cousin's wedding and to enjoy some r & r with my family. This is our last trip as a family of three (tear).

I mentioned on Instagram last week that I've lived in maxi dresses throughout most of my second and third trimester. I can't imagine wearing anything else in this summer heat. I'm loving this white lace one I found at Target. It's lightweight and airy - perfect for the summer.

My new favorite travel accessory is this weekender bag from ModCloth. It was my birthday gift my from  hubby, and it embodies my love for east coast preppy style completely. I love that it comes with a cross-body strap for carrying convenience.

I'll still post some updates while I'm on vacation, so stay tuned! For now, enjoy your weekend!

Summer Blues

Chocolate and fashion - two of my favorite things. I've teamed up with Lindt Chocolate to share with you style inspired by the delicious and beautiful coconut LINDOR truffle. Other than black and white, blue is the color that is most universally flattering for all skin tones, and the aqua packaging of the coconut truffle is a perfect pairing with summer fashion. Blue tones of an ocean, pool and sky are all part of the summer experience, and now eating truffles by my pool is too. I may only get a couple hours of peace and quite throughout the day, but those hours are definitely filled with tasty treats and relaxation when I can manage it.

I chose a trapeze maxi dress from Alixandra Collections to wear for my Lindt fashion challenge because it's a dress that I would wear pregnant or not-pregnant. It has a luxurious and easy quality to it along with a flattering solid strip down the center. The color palette of the dress is mostly navy and white, but the flecks of lighter blues and even pastel pink create more interest. The fact that this dress has a strong pattern helps disguise any extra curves you might want to hide (although I can't really hide my bump anymore).

Third Trimester Maternity Style

28 weeks has arrived and so has 114 degree weather. Oh my gosh it's so flippin' hot here! I wish I didn't even have to get dressed right now because the struggle is REAL my friends. Forget wearing jeans in this heat with a giant elastic band that goes over your stomach...No, thank you! I'll stick to light-weight, soft, cotton maxi dresses thank you very much.

This white and black striped dress from ZARA is perfect for the summer. It's machine washable, and  the low back is just low enough to add some style, but not too low that I can't wear a bra. You do have to wear a nude slip with it, but other than that it's easy, breezy. It's not maternity either, so I love that I will be able to wear this dress post baby, and not look crazy.

I paired it with my boho bag from Anthropologie and some reflective shades from Lulu*s.

Side note, I have realized that there are some fairly uncomfortable things about third trimester that every woman should know:

1. You will develop a waddle. Forget being able to walk with one foot in front of the other.

2. Your belly can touch your legs when you sit down.

3. Your boobs can touch your stomach depending on their size.

4. You breathe heavier.

So much has to get done before this little guy is here, but man, I'm starting to feel ready to get back to my normal body. I just need to focus on the really cool thing about this trimester, which is that I can really feel him move more than ever.

Trapeze Pleated Maxi Dress

Sometimes the best maternity dresses are not maternity. In fact, that's usually the case. I recently found this incredibly beautiful blush, pleated maxi dress with a trapeze silhouette from Target for only $29.99, and it has quickly become the most comfortable and fashionable piece of clothing I own. Even if I wasn't pregnant I would wear this dress.

You can switch out the string belt to add a leather one if you would like, or you can opt to not wear a belt at all. I especially love that this dress is lined. Lately, it seems that all of these maxi dresses I try on in stores are totally see-through. WTF?! The last thing I want to do is wear a slip in this terrible heat.

I like to embrace the Greecian vibe of the dress by sporting my wrap metallic sandals from Lulu*s, and my white leather clutch from T. Madison.

If you wanted to dress up this dress for an evening event like I did recently for Alt Summit, I would wear long, shoulder duster earrings, bangles, rings and a pink pouty lipstick.
