Maxi dresses have to be the most comfortable style of dress there is. Okay, moomoo's and house coats might be more comfortable, but who wants to wear those?

This elegant, black maxi dress by Kokoon is my third choice for Kokoon's style challenge. The color definitely makes it more versatile than most dresses, but because of it's simplicity I can easily accessorize this dress to make it more boho for a day with Elle or a trip to the farmer's market. I added a lace kimono, hat, clutch and a statement necklace with ease.

By simply removing my hat and kimono, I am left with an elegant dress that is more suitable for church, brunch or a shower.

I love when style isn't complicated and doesn't require too much effort to feel beautiful. Kokoon's dresses are exactly that for women.

I think it's safe to say that all of us have a black dress in our closet. But do all of us have an LBD that is versatile like this one?

Kokoon challenged me to style three dresses for five days, and I selected the Rick Rack dress as one of the pieces I think women should have because it's sophisticated and versatile. You can wear it work with a blazer and black bumps as shown above or you can wear it with statement earrings and dressy shoes and be ready for church or even a date night.

You don't even need to overly accessorize this dress. The simplicity is what makes it so beautiful. Plus, the fact that it's knit makes it wrinkle-free and machine washable is a home run. It's THE perfect travel dress for those who are jet-setters.

So, that kills two days (work day and Sunday), check back tomorrow to see what dress transcends another two day period of time.

Three Dresses for Five Days: Simple White

There's an allure to a simple white dress, but so often I have avoided wearing one. Other than my wedding day, I don't think I have ever owned or worn a white dress. Someone once told me that white makes women look bigger, and I think since then I have avoided the color all together. I also manage to stain almost every white piece of clothing I own, and so it's just not a practical color for a mom on the go.

That was all until I wore the Sienna dress by Kokoon...I just love it too much, AND you know what? It's machine washable. Ding! Ding! I can just bleach it if it gets stained. It doesn't wrinkle either because of the knit textile. Hallelujah!

The raglan sleeve detail makes this simple white dress perfect for weekend hangs with my family. You can wear it with wedges or sandals, but I loved wearing my white chucks to make my outfit even more casual. Add a denim jacket to keep you warm during the spring nights, and you are set for a Saturday in style.

Have I made you re-think your white fabric hesitation? Keep checking back every day this week to see how I only need three dresses for five days of the week.
