I love the slight breeziness that tells us it's fall in Arizona. While the rest of the world (or at least a good portion of it) are bundled up in coats and chic scarves, wearing pants is a luxury in this state. Don't get me wrong, I love it here, and I love the opportunity to extend my summer wardrobe a bit. But in the spirit of fall dressing in the desert, this pin really inspired me. I love the laid back vibe of some slouchy trousers and a white tee, contrasted by a polished belt and structured matching bag. Drape a duster coat over your shoulders and you instantly look like you should be roaming around the streets of New York. There's no going wrong with this look, especially when you can get it for under $150.

When you think fall wardrobe, you think dark colors. Jewel tones, grays and browns, and of course, the infamous black. While it's nice to have an excuse to freshen things up from the light tones of summer, sometimes I like to go against the crowd and embrace winter whites (especially after seeing this pin). After all, temperatures turn dreary, the sky gets dark, and why blend in when you can stand out? Regardless of the season, you can never go wrong with a button down. Pair it with a chunky sweater, and you have a trendy waist accessory when it's warmer in the afternoon, but an opportunity to bundle up when evening temperatures drop. Everybody loves versatility, especially in the form of such a classic look.

Call it wishful thinking, but I'm hoping to soon break out my long sleeve blouse and boot ensembles. Being covered head to toe can be a bit intimidating, especially in all black, but this lovely pin inspired me to embrace the off-the-shoulder trend this fall as a way of giving my eyes (and shoulders) some room to breathe. Off-the-shoulder tees and blouses have become practically as common on the streets as your average button down, so I'm happy to add it as a staple to my closet. Thigh high boots used to be reserved for superheroes and the super sexy, but I love adding a delicate ruffle to a sharper look to add a touch of femininity.

There's something just so chic about a white on white outfit. Maybe it's the bravery that it takes to wear it in the first place. I feel like a risk taker even throwing on a white tee most days, envisioning spilling my coffee while running out the door or having grape juice dribbled on it during a sloppy kiss from one of my kiddos. Or maybe it's the fact that this look reminds me of a warm, sunny day. I mean, how could you not feel like you're on vacation toting around that beautiful straw bag? Either way, this white ensemble looks amazing on photographer Sam Riles
