Fringe & Tie-Dye

There are two things that are hot, hot trends right now and that's fringe and tie-dye. I put them both into one outfit, so does that mean I am a hot tamale?!!! haha!

Being pregnant makes my clothing options a bit limited since I have a bump to accommodate, but this high-low navy tie-dye dress from Alixandra Collections is just perfect. It still allows me to be trendy, and it's insanely comfortable since it's made of light-weight cotton.

I've also been accessorizing a lot more since I have to stick to more basic silhouettes these days. I wear rings, bracelets, AND a necklace almost every day. I love these chunky silver pieces from Alixandra Collections because they don't look like anything else that's out there right now. In my book, jewelry should always be unique and a conversation piece.

I'm not much of a handbag person. You can probably gather that from my outfit posts. If I buy a handbag it's because I really, really, really like it and I have to have it. This fringe, leather, metallic tote is AMAZING. It's the perfect bag for summer because it can easily be a beach bag or it can be a stylish carryall. Moms Are Superheroes

Heroes aren't imaginary. They're real. Contrary to popular belief, they don't wear masks every day, but instead love to wear jewelry, jeans, and sometimes even dresses. They rescue kids from danger every day, stay up all hours of the night, and can turn tears in to laughter within seconds.

Moms are heroes. They can make pain go away with a kiss and give birth to new life. Those are incredible super powers, and I am so thankful for them because none of us would be here without moms.

I am so thankful that I get to be Elle's mom, and a mom to this little one growing in my belly. I wouldn't usually describe myself as a super hero, but when 31 Bits picked me as one of their Super-hero Moms, it made me think about the role that moms play in the world. It sure is a big one, and it's an honor to be a hero for Elle.

I must say, however, that I have one super hero kid. As much as I might have an impact on her, she sure has an impact on me. She has superpowers to make me feel happiness, purpose and humbleness like nothing else. I think it's safe to say that everyone in this world possesses qualities of a superhero, but I'm sure glad that I can know what it means to embody "superhero mom" powers for Elle and Baby E.

Coffee & Cuddles

Coffee and cuddles rank in my top 10 things I love most in this life, so of course, I love this t-shirt design from Dove Tail Vintage. Simple graphic t-shirts are a huge trend right now in fashion. I love this fad because t-shirts are so comfortable and easy to wear, but I also love them because you get to know a little bit about the person before they ever speak a word.

Maybe I'll get some free coffee and a hug this morning?!...One can only hope!

Three Dress for Five Days: Perfect Maxi

Maxi dresses have to be the most comfortable style of dress there is. Okay, moomoo's and house coats might be more comfortable, but who wants to wear those?

This elegant, black maxi dress by Kokoon is my third choice for Kokoon's style challenge. The color definitely makes it more versatile than most dresses, but because of it's simplicity I can easily accessorize this dress to make it more boho for a day with Elle or a trip to the farmer's market. I added a lace kimono, hat, clutch and a statement necklace with ease.
